  • Creative White Space designs e-newsletters in HTML format.
  • eLance, a global marketplace for freelance writing, editing, and marketing communications services.
  • Got offers Campaigner, ASP software that lets you create, send and measure permission-based e-mail marketing campaigns. GotMarketing also publishes a newsletter covering "best practices for e-mail marketing," and posts archives on its website. Based in San Jose, CA.
  • iMakeNews, a "one-stop" service that helps you create and distribute online newsletters.

  • Journalism Awards for Newsletter Publishers The Newsletter & Electronic Publishers Foundation sponsors an annual awards program to recognize excellence in subscription newsletter journalism (since 1978).
  • MarketingProfs.com publishes how-to articles on e-mail marketing and a variety of other topics. Managed by Alan Weiss, marketing professor at Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. You have to become a MarketingProfs.com member (free) to read the articles.

DEFINITION: A client newsletter is one that you distribute free, primarily to clients, prospective clients, and referral sources. Its objective is to inform, educate, demonstrate your expertise, and promote your services, rather than to earn a profit.
